SS8 Signal Stabilizer§ Installation Instructions
Custom CVO, 2013 Road King CVO
1. Locate connector block for taillight/turn signals located under seat or left side panel on some models. Unplug
main harness connector from fender harness connector.
2. Plug Signal Stabilizer§ in between these two connectors. Mount Signal Stabilizer in secure location.
3. Connect Red wire from Signal Stabilizer to Positive of Battery through 3 amp Fuse.
4. Attach Black wire with terminal ring from Signal Stabilizer§ to NEGATIVE of battery.
5. Perform a turn signal synchronization. With the key in the run position and the bike off, press the right
turn signal button and allow the turn signal to flash 2 times, after the second flash press the left turn signal
button and allow the turn signal to flash 2 times, after the second flash press the right turn signal and allow it
to flash at east 10 times. Turn key off.
6. Test signals for proper operation. Test Alarm for proper operation, if equipped.
7. If there is interference on CB or FM stations on touring bikes, move the black wire from the negative of
the battery to the right side grounding stud on the bike's frame directly in front of the battery box.
